Re: Connected component command line error
Hi Daniel, I was able to simplify the script to a state where I try to use LCC on two different files which result from the same postprocessing method. It works on the one file, using it on the other file shows the same error message that I already mentioned. The structure of both PC seem to be iden...

Connected component command line error
Hello, In the context of a command line calculation, two point clouds (importCloudF2 and importReferenceCloud, from Agisoft Metashape) will be compared with M3C2. Subsequently, one point cloud will be filtered based on the M3C2 value. The filtered point cloud (EXPORTCLOUD_M3C2filtered1) is intended ...

Bounding box dimensions and octree calculation
Hello, I have a question regarding the calculation of bounding box dimensions and the resulting octree levels. - In my understanding, the bounding box dimensions represent the maximum values of either the x, y, or z coordinate distance of a point cloud. Is that correct? -As mentioned on the CC Wiki,...

PLY-file command line apply SF
Hi, I have a point cloud (PLY-file, ASCII) which I would like to edit in CC in command line mode. I want to filter based on a scalar field (confidence), but the values are still kept in the final PC. It doesn't complain when I am setting the Value to 'confidence' (see below), but I have the feeling ...

Re: M3C2_GaussMean_statistical-parameters
Hello Daniel, Thank you very much. It seems like the exported csv-file showed the "wrong" results as well. That's why the Gaussian curve was not at the right position. I exported the csv-file again (with CC 2.13.alpha) and double checked the mean value by using the equation in the attached...

Re: M3C2_GaussMean_statistical-parameters
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your quick response.
The info in the terminal shows the same values as displayed above the histogram.
I sent you an E-Mail with a link. With that you can download the point cloud.
Best regards
Michael

M3C2_GaussMean_statistical-parameters
Hi everyone, I am comparing different cloud with the M3C2 Algorithm and I try to show the comparability by asigning a Gaussian distribution. I am a little bit confused by the results. The peak of the Gaussian curve should normally represent the mean value, right? In the graphic that I attached (file...

Re: CC on Linux - error QSocketNotifier
It is more of an error, as Cloud Compare is not working or doing anything. Does CC necessarily need a GPU for its calculation (sorry if that's a dumb question)?
We are using a R1F95C NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 Graphics, if that helps for the solution.
