Hey,
I'm on 10.14.6 because of old apps and trying to run CloudCompare.
Of course the newer version say I need 10.15.
But CloudCompare-2.12-beta-x86_64.dmg says I need 10.12 or newer - this doesn't make any sense...
See image.
Is this just a version comparison gone wrong?
Any chance to fix the old version?

Re: CloudCompare on 10.14
So the message says that you have 10.14.6 installed and that the application needs 10.12 ?
that's weird
I'll try to see If I can lower the requirements to macOS 10.14 the next time I produce theapp bundles

Re: CloudCompare on 10.14
Thanks - would be very helpful if it was possible.
Edit: The older CloudCompare-2.11.1 from asmaloney.com works for now!

Re: CloudCompare on 10.14
I have a MacBook Pro that I keep on 10.14 and don't upgrade to a more recent OS as there is software that I depend on that will break after 10.14. So I'm receiving the same error message as the previous poster except in English. But at any rate 10.14.6 is certainly later than 10.12 so I don't know why it isn't working. Any fixes in the works? Is there a way to 'trick' CloudCompare with a command line instruction or something into thinking it is running on the 'right' OS?
Re: CloudCompare on 10.14
Any update on the issue? The same happens with my mac and I failed to install any version from Github. Should I assume that all the 2.12 versions require 10.15 mac OS and it's just a spelling error in the info.plist file?
(although stated otherwise in the downloads page:

)Notes: the macOS packages work with macOS 10.15 or later (Intel version) and with macOS 11.0 or later (Apple Silicon).
For older systems, older 2.12.beta packages can be downloaded here:
Re: CloudCompare on 10.14
Sadly the macOS support is not as good as it was before... The info.plist file is probably outdated. And I guess yes, the newer versions don't support old macOS releases? (only Thomas Montaigu tries to compile a version from time to time, but it's not easy as we are not mac users). We would need a skilled macOS expert to help us with that!

Thank you Daniel for the response and all the work! Even then, I am grateful that it's such a creative piece of software, I've just started learning its potential.
