Importing tif files in CloudCompare

Hii, Can we import the tif/Geotiff file of the Drone Image (Orthomosaic) in CloudCompare?

Yes, as a 'raster' file (you have to select the right type in the File loading dialog).

Can cc load z value from geotff?
I always get xy and rgb but no z

I believe it imports correctly as per dimensions, but its flat? And you can se Z value as scalar fields? I had same issue, I did browse through the forum - and if that is your case then you need to select your flat point cloud, go to Edit->Scalar Fields->Set SF as coordinate(s) and from dialog box choose "Z"

Yes exactly, CC doesn't know if the geotiff fields are Z or something else (and they might have different units as well)... So you have to manually convert the scalar field to Z.
