CloudCompare forum

If I save a point cloud in *.csv or *.pts format, I can see a row for each point, and nine columns. I want to know what the nine numbers represent (please). I am hoping they are location of point (X, Y, Z), perhaps colour, but it would be good to know what each column represents.

I am new to CloudCompare (MacOS). I have managed to import a mesh and use 'Sample Points on Mesh' to make a point cloud. But how do save or export the Point Cloud.
I have tried Tools > Batch Export > Export Cloud Info
and
File > Save

But nothing happens. No dialog box appears.

So, how do I save or ...
