Re: Issue with displaying negative scalars
Hi Daniel, sorry I didn't see your reply. The problem is that the laser reflected intensity for Leica scanners is almost all the time negative...hence if I wanted to have a linear color ramp between -1200 and -800, I don't think it's possible at present. And to be frank this is quite unintuitive to ...

Re: Large coordinates does not display properly
Hi, we had similar issues because the present version of Cloudcompare is compiled in float rather than double. Unless a double version is compiled, you'll end up with discretization issues at large distances. What we've done : just use a local referential which is simple horizontal translation of yo...

Issue with displaying negative scalars
Hi all, there's an issue when trying to display scalar values which are negative. Say you want to display Leica laser intensity which for a stupid reason is exported between -2048 and +2048 : the 1st slider controlling the minimum boundary for points to be colored is correctly giving the minimum (-1...

[Done] Availability of some functions in command line mode
Hi all, how easy would it be to get the subsampling functions of CC available in command line completely out of CC ? For very large dataset, it is quite long to first load the data in CC, then subsample it. When you have 20 datasets for which you need to do that to turn a 100 million points into a 1...

Re: Camera placement
Hi all, automatically positioning the center of rotation at picked point would be really great. This way you can navigate clouds with very large spatial extension. This works really well for instance in Leica Cyclone : you click on a specific icon (or you use a keyboard shortcut), the cursor changes...

Crash in density calculation [RESOLVED]
Hi All,
first of all, congrats to Daniel and all the developper for the ongoing work on CC.
CC crashes when trying to compute the point density with the latest build. Am I the only one ?
Cheers
Dimitri
