Re: hidden point removal working in matlab
The Matlab code requires radius. Can you give some example value. Camera station is just x, y, z??? keeping same camera station but rotation (changing angles) gives different results in CC. It also make sense. How can I do it in matlab. parameters are points[n*3], camera[1*3] and radius e.g., 5m. I ...

I 'm trying to understand : How hidden point removal is working in CC. Is it taking viewport info automatically from current view port or camera settings. How can see what is written in viewport. Can I see its properties or export it as text. Direct Visibility of Point Sets http://www.wisdom.weizman...

Re: Script for compution of scattering angle
When nothing possible.. minimum how can I batch process the creation of Scattering angle... At the moment I can click on single ID. Any Idea?????? Can you just type command for Applying Transformation to test.bin and save as test_trans.bin ' C:\Program Files\CloudCompare>CloudCompare -o C:\CloudCom...

Script for compution of scattering angle
Is it possible to automate the whole process for >10 clouds by using script. If yes how I never run script. Compute normal (options) bestfit plane radius 0.05 + (0,0,0) Create sensors TLS/GBL (by defalut settings) Compute Scattering angle conver 2 degree Export all Scans as text file with default na...

Re: Introducing scale bar in rendered file
I got it. Do you see any possibility to introduce limit in rendered file. By default it renders the whole 3D window..
[minx,miny]-----> [maxx,maxy]↓
x,y are current units of point cloud.

Re: Introducing scale bar in rendered file
Thanks for this nice tip. I can't figure out how can I render file on exact scale. Here are details: 1:Adjust Zoom window 3D view: 1.95 pixel-size=.03 units /1 pixel 2:rendered to file @5 times zoom 3:Imported into AutoCad with scale 1 4: the scale bar showed 10 m in image has length 17+ m, therefor...

Re: Introducing scale bar in rendered file
I did also with fake cloud and importing as text. This helped me to place scale bar virtually at any place in window. My other question was/is about orthoimage. It is orthographic projection. If I can selected starting and end point in window and make an image, I can use it like orthoimage. This mea...

Introducing scale bar in rendered file
I want to know scale of my rendered file just like orthoimage. How can introduce a user-defined scale bar in my rendered file or how can I know size of pixel/cm etc. in render file.

Scaling/moving/ renaming scalar Field
I have the flowing questions:
1: can I adjust the the scale (length) of scalar Field to fit with the cloud?
2: can I put it horizontally above or below the cloud?
3: Can I rename the label (C2M signed distance...] manfully? I wan to write it in German.

Re: translation/rotation tool
You are right. But I was wondering if it can be locked through dialogue box.
