No save as or export dialog in MacOS

Hi, I'm running the latest build 2.14 alpha.

I have a point cloud I want to export as .ply but I absolutely fail to export it! selecting the point in the DB tree and clicking the two discs, the save as will only allow me to save as .bin no other formats. What am I doing wrong?

Is it maybe a group (folder) of clouds with multiple clouds inside?

You can only export a single entity (cloud or mesh) in a PLY file. Therefore, make sure you highlight only one cloud, and not a folder.
