problem with third-party library

Hi everybody!

I have some issues during the import of point cloud in CloudeCompare (actually, I also tried with other software which works with point clouds, such as Metashape and SAGA-GIS). The point cloud is in las. format.
Basically, I have this error :

"An error occurred while loading 'point cloud path": the third-party library in charge of saving/loading the file has failed to perform the operation."

I'm a beginner, so I don't know what the third-party library is, and thus I don't know how to fix it, hoping that it's possible.. It would also be interesting to understand where this error came from, since I just played with the SOR plug-in for filtering the cloud and then saved it.

Which version of CC have you used?

And if it's the latest, can you maybe share a sample file with us? (admin@cloudcompare.org)
