Hi!
We have the tunnel profiles to compare. For this case we have meade a survey in the tunnel of 18 profiles. Our profile 18 is the reference and all the other we have to compare with the prosile 18. The profiles are saved as 3d polylinies with vertices. We have fine registered all the profiles and computed the normals from profile 18 - our reference. Then we compared the profiles with the reference profile 18 wtih plugin M32C but we do not have any good results. My question is what are we doing wrong. The result should be a deformation on some profiles, cause by force from outside (soil is not eaqually arranged). Some cracks are vissible on concrete. Is there any other method to compute the difference? I can provide dxf file if needed.
Thank in advance for all the answers.

Re: Comparing tunnel profiles
Well, if it's linear features, M3C2 may not be the right tool (and CloudCompare in general). These tools are more meant to be use with dense 3D data.
But don't hesitate to send some sample files to admin@cloudcompare.org

Thank you very much for the answer. I have sent you mail with the profiles.
Kind Regards.

Yes, I received it. Things are a bit hectic at the end of the year, so it may take may several days before I can take a look...
