"Problem with the Compass" plugin or maybe other plugins

I am using the "Compass" to measure the (Dip and Dip direction) of the target, and I can see the fitted square green area in the image. However, other users seem to be able to manually add "Baecher’s disc " models with a much larger radius. How was this achieved? I tried all the tools and plugins, but couldn't find the solution. Which version of CC are you using and on which OS? (you should normally press CTRL and use the mouse wheel).
