Unroll Tunnel

Hello everyone

I have a point cloud of a tunnel, and this tunnel has a slight curve, that's how I would describe it for now. I want to unroll the tunnel somewhat accurately. I have tried everything possible but unfortunately without success. Is there anyone here who would be interested in helping me with this? Of course, we can openly discuss the hours involved as introductory learning sessions, and I am willing to pay if someone can show me how to do it.

Hi, are there any updates on this topic? I will have to do similar thing, now I'm only trying to unroll a linear tunnel and it works in a certain way

Well, I don't remember the specifics of this conversation, but you can now fit a cylinder (manually or automatically with the Ransac Shape Detection plugin for instance), and then use this cylinder as an input of the Unroll tool.
