3DFin - how to use for Forestry with Robosense sensor

I am using LIDAR sensor called AIRY from RoboSense which creates .pcap files and allows exporting to .PCD files. I am manipulating the PCD files with CloudCompare functions to level, segment and identify stems. I want to interact with members that have used 3DFin successfully to generate 2D data and 2D maps where the tree stems are identified. I am not sure if the point data in the .pcap or .pcd files created by AIRY have enough data points for 3DFin to compute correctly. So far 3DFin returns a potential normalization error in the terrain model: clusters were found, but they are too small to be considered potential stems.
I have read the tutorial and made all sorts of changes in the cloth resolution value (from 0.7 to .3,.4, .5, and above), the number of points to identify stems value (from 1000, to 1100, and higher and lower), modified all of the Basic and advanced points interacting with ChatGPT and Perplexity. Unfortunately neither of the change in parameter values has allowed the Compute button in 3DFin to work.
That is the reason I am reaching out to anyone that has actually used the 3DFin option. I can provide the .pcap and pcd files to anyone interested in analyzing the problem.
My objective is to use the 3DFin functionality to create 2D maps of tree and bamboo plantations.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
