Hi, CloudCompare is awesome, thanks to the community backing its development!
Currently, the CGAL library doesn’t seem to work in the last CloudCompare (2.14 alpha) compiled dmg (20250913 & 20250417) for MacOS. (At least not on my managed machine running Microsoft Defender “antivirus” in the background… and other shadow IT stuff). This issue was faced when running MacOS 15.4, and now 26.0 on a non-admin user session.
This prevents using functions relying on that library (e.g. Normals calculation via triangulation; Mesh generation…).
Otherwise, thanks again for that excellent piece of software! Also, great that the open/save UI elements have mostly been fixed (appart from the ability to export a geotiff raster) after breaking with MacOS 15.4 update (probably stricter OS’s requirements).
