The G3point tool introduced in CloudCompare 2.14.alpha is extremely useful. Thank you.

When analyzing point clouds created from a 100,000-point DXF file, if cluster and removal are not performed, ellipsoid fitting fails and CloudCompare crashes.
Could you please implement a fix for this?

Also, could you add a feature to create a bounding box instead of ellipsoid fitting?

What is your version of CloudCompare? Because it matters, you may use a too old release.

What do you mean by a bounding box? You want some kind of rectangular parallelepipeds instead of ellipsoids? You may post a request on the GitHub repository of G3Point for that.
