Snapping when rotating in 3D view

Hello,
I've been trying to find a setting that would turn off the "snapping" when I rotate a could in the 3D view.
I hope I am using the correct terminology. So, when I rotate a cloud, using my mouse, if I pass close by the position where it was before I started the rotation, the could will snap into that start position. That's perfectly fine if I am just analyzing the object for myself, but I am also trying to make videos for YouTube.
As a result of this snapping, I don't have a smooth rotation of the 3D object.
Is there a way to turn off this snapping feature?
