Batch extract Z-values from point clouds via XY list

Hello, I have several UAV-derived point clouds of a construction site. Additionally, I have a list of XY coordinates. For these exact locations, I need to extract the elevation data from both the lower and upper point clouds. My ultimate objective is to compile an Excel spreadsheet to calculate the isopach (thickness) lines for these points. Is there an efficient workflow to import my coordinate list, query the relevant Z-values from the point clouds, and export the combined data as a TXT or CSV file?

Yes, you can load the UAV-derived point clouds, and for each of them:
- Edit > Scalar fields > Export coordinate to SF (Z coordinate)
- Edit > Multiply/scale > multiply only Z by zero
- load the XY points
- Edit > Scalar fields > interpolate from another entity --> interpolate the Z coordinate (now a SF) from one of the UAV cloud
- rename the interpolate 'Z' SF to something else (Edit > Scalar fields > Rename)
- 'Edit > Scalar fields > interpolate from another entity' with the other UAV cloud
Now you have the XY points with 2 scalar fields (Zmin / Zmax) and you can simply export this point cloud to the ASCII format, with the extension TXT or CSV for instance (as you prefer).
