ShadeVis on CC vs Python

Hi!

I am currently trying to automate a pipeline using cloudComPy.PCV.computeShadeVIS function with CloudComPy, to evaluate visibility from above (so always top hemisphere). However, I find distinct results from the same parameters when comparing the CC and the Python outputs. For example, using a resolution of 1024, the results are alike but not perfectly the same. And things get harsher with a resolution of 2048 in which the Python results are absurd: lowest values for the top-center of the scene, which is one of the most exposed. CloudCompare software outputs are always fine.

Has someone already been exposed to this problem? Is it due to environment or GUI differences?

Thanks a lot!

Lauris

Sorry for the long delay. Maybe it would be worth posting this question on the CloudCompy project's github page? (since it's a different project):
